At the end of July 2011 the offer of flats in Warsaw comprised nearly 18.3 thousand flats. These included over 4.9 thousand completed dwellings. In three districts the recorded supply of flats reached over 2.0 thousand residential premises. In Mokotów and Bemowo this was over 2.5 thousand flats and nearly 2.5 thousand residential units, respectively. On the other hand, in Wola over 2.2 thousand flats were on offer.
Dwellings located in the area of the left-bank Warsaw constituted nearly 73% of the offer at the end of July, and those located to the right of the Vistula River made up over 27%. In July ten new projects or phases of residential estates already on offer were launched offering over 1.1 thousand flats – over 88% of these offers were located in the left-bank Warsaw, and less than 12% in the right-bank part of the city.
Apart from Białołęka, which has been an area of a large number of new projects for the past few months, real-estate developers often choose areas well-communicated and located in the city centre for the realisation of their projects – the most popular areas are, for example, Wola and Mokotów. New projects can be also seen in Bielany or Bemowo, among others.
