At the end of August 2011 the offer of new flats in the area of the
seven biggest residential markets in Poland reached 47.7 thousand flats.
Traditionally, the biggest number of dwellings was offered in Warsaw –
nearly 18.2 thousand units. Very important markets are still Cracow
(almost 7.5 thousand flats on offer) and Wrocław (over 7.1 thousand
residential premises).
In respect of the net sales of flats, in other words excluding resignations, 2,089 flats were sold on the seven biggest markets in total. According to the table below the highest demand for flats was naturally in Warsaw – 36.7% (of flats purchased on the seven markets in total).
At the end of July 2011 the residential offer in Wrocław comprised 6.7 thousand flats, with over 3.1 thousand in Krzyki, and over 2.3 thousand in Fabryczna. Slightly more than 0.5 thousand of dwellings were recorded in Śródmieście. On the other hand, the supply of flats both in Stare Miasto (the Old Town) and Psie Pole did not exceed 0.4 thousand residential premises.
At the end of July 2011 the residential offer in Łódź comprised 2.7 thousand new flats, with more than 36% comprising completed residential premises.
With nearly 6.6 thousand flats on offer in the Tri-City at the end of July 2011, nearly 77% were located in Gdańsk. Over 19% of supply came from Gdynia and less than 4% from Sopot. The highest percentage of completed units on offer was observed in Gdynia – over 34%; as for Gdańsk and Sopot, the respective percentage shares were 28% and over 17%.
At the end of July 2011 the offer of flats in Warsaw comprised nearly 18.3 thousand flats. These included over 4.9 thousand completed dwellings. In three districts the recorded supply of flats reached over 2.0 thousand residential premises. In Mokotów and Bemowo this was over 2.5 thousand flats and nearly 2.5 thousand residential units, respectively. On the other hand, in Wola over 2.2 thousand flats were on offer.

Kraków is one of the biggest residential markets in Poland. Nearly 22% of 5,800 flats offered there at the end of 2010 were completed dwellings.
At the end of 2010 the offer of flats in Łódź comprised over 2,500 new flats, with 35% being completed units.
